Currently all camps are full! Over 2019 summer LYN House will be offering camps designed to help children gain new skills in a specialty area, while simultaneously gaining confidence in the people God created them to be and finding new ways to express their own creativity. All camps will include biblical lessons and teachings. Scroll to the bottom of the page to read the descriptions of each camp, dates, and ages. Each week has it's own unique theme.
Student Registration
Registration for students who have attended a camp, basketball, or tutoring this year will be given priority until May 11th. New students may register now and if there is space after May 11th will be accepted. Space is limited for each camp, so please do not register your child unless they are able to attend ALL dates of that camp.
Please fill out the preregistration form on the BOTTOM of this page to secure a spot for your child. Scroll below to see each camp theme and the dates. Once your child is registered you will be contacted to print and fill out the consent form and how much money you owe for camp. Please note there is no fee for Hero Central Vacation Bible School and space is NOT limited. There is a nominal fee for all other camps and space IS limited. If you would like to register in person you can register at our Second Saturday Breakfast on Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 - 11:00. Please print and fill out the consent form necessary for camp involvement. If you do not have access to a printer, please contact the LYN House for a copy. Hero Central Vacation Bible School will be June 24th - 27th at First Free Methodist Church. There is no cost for VBS. A parent consent form is required.

Cost
When you register your child, please note that the cost of camp is $4 for one camp; and $6 for 2 camps, and $8 for 3 camps. Please do not register for a camp UNLESS your child can attend all days of that camp. Family rates are available. Please contact Heidi Lyda for more information on registration and cost for families. All children who participate in a camp are invited to our end of summer Christmas Party on Thursday, July 25th from 5:00 - 7:00.

Summer Camp themes and dates
HERO central vbs
Vacation Bible School will be held June 24th - 27th from 1 - 4 pm. Students in kindergarten through 6th grade will participate in team building games, art activities, music, story-telling, and snack creation. There is no cost for Vacation Bible School.
The viewfinder project II
Camp will be held July 1st - 3rd from 1 - 4 pm. Any student who has previously taken The Viewfinder Project may take TVP II. Students who have participated before will expand their photography skills through exploring black and white photography, macro photography, and other lessons.
STEAM
This camp is currently full. Camp will be held July 8th - 11th from 1 - 4 pm. Students K-6th grade will explore a variety of activities through science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
kids' kitchen: Cooking around the clock
This camp is currently full. Camp will be held July 15th - 18th from 1 - 4 pm. Students in K-6th grade are welcome to participate in this camp. Students will prepare and taste dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert each day.
Christmas in july art camp
This camp is currently full. Camp will be held July 22nd - 25th from 1 - 4pm. Students in K-6th grade are welcome to participate in this camp. Students will explore a variety of art activities and crafts centered on the theme of Christmas.
