Mentor/Tutor Children K - 6th (LYNT)

 

We need a competent adult who is willing to volunteer on Tuesday and Thursdays after school for a one hour session between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. We are looking for someone who loves children, and loves reading. Since we are a faith based organization we prefer candidates who are Christian for mentoring purposes. You will be paired with one student ages from K - 6th grade to tutor in an academic area of need and to mentor into a relationship with Christ.

We require background checks for all individuals ($20 fee). If you are unable to pay we can help.

 

We require an orientation and volunteer training prior to starting.

We need a competent adult who is willing to volunteer on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30 to help improve literacy among adults. Since we are a faith based organization we prefer candidates who are Christian for mentoring purposes. This ministry is through a partnership with Indy Reads (www.indyreads.org) and will require an orientation with Indy Reads. We require an orientation and volunteer training prior to starting.

 

We need a competent adult to assist with Job training class using Jobs For Life (www.jobsforlife.com) curriculum. New Class TBD.
